From Woman Made — We are pleased to present ‘Is There A Mother In The House,’ an exhibition that explores the multiple facets of ‘Mother’ and her impact on their own lives and on the wider world. What is the meaning of Mother, and what House does she inhabit? What sway does a mother's voice, presence, love---or lack of these things---have? Must one bear a child, or be a woman, to be a mother?
Juried by former Woman Made Gallery Director, Janet Bloch, the exhibition includes forty works in a variety of media by thirty-one artists from fifteen U.S. states.
Exhibiting Artists include: Flora Calabrese; Christina Canzoneri; Alejandra Carrillo-Estrada; Leslie Cortez; Anna Drew; Karen Gubitz; Laurie Talbot Hall; Laurie Huff; Yuna Kim; Laura LeBreton; Jennifer Levine; Nesha Logan; Jennifer Lothrigel; Trina Merry; Terri Messinides; Anne Muntges; Natalie Jackson O'Neal; Asha Partyka; Cortney Philip; Amy Pleasant; Suzannah Schreckhise; Sabine Senft; Mackenzie Sikora; Betsy Timmer; Tamara Torres; Terry Vitacco; Valerie Wahna; Elizabeth White; Beverly Whiteside; Morgan Ford Willingham; and Megan Wynne.

Throughout the month of December and into January, I'll be odd Pottery's featured "Artist of the Month." It's a real honor to be shown in such a cool community space! Check out some fiber art about disease and health care, and while you're there, consider taking a class or two to support a local maker space.
Come to the Greenleaf Art Center's "Fear No Art" opening to see my latest giant fiber monstrosity and the inside of my studio where I'll have smaller items for sale (and booze for free). Plus, a billion other artists 50x as talented as I am will have their work on display.
